On What Tiger Woods was looking for

Once again, we are doing ON The News in Prise de Parole. The assignment was finding a piece of news from the English-speaking world and prepare a newscast around it. Most of the news were serious, but we got to talking about the Tiger Woods Affair. So how can we summarize what's been going on? "Iz luking for a new 'ol". Who says you can't have a sense of humor in a language you don't speak fluently?

What are TV commercials good for

Debate Presentations well under way, I have been more and more pleased with the Licence 2 debates. With each passing week, the presentations appear better and better structured, well thought- out, accompanied by plenty of details and *grrr* statistic. Good job you guys! Can't help but include my favorite *argument* to date. The person defending TV commercials pointed out that they were indispensable to a great movie-watching experience because they give you enough time to go to the bathroom! I think that's something we can all agree with! Keep those arguments coming!
